Miró Rivera Architects (MRA) is an established architecture practice based in Austin, Texas.

They have achieved many national and international architecture awards including an American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) IDEAS National Award (2016) in the category for projects less than US$15 Million for this vertical house project project.

This stunning 743 sq.m. (8000 sq.ft) house in Dallas, Texas is a stand out design resplendent in its clean lines and sheer glass walls in a tropical forest like setting. From ground level, two eighteen meter exterior sheathing walls provide a structural role, shade from the sun and privacy. On a vertical basis, every principal space is accessible via a glass enclosed stairwell and the five storeys are topped off by an open air roof terrace which has 360° views.

The interior colour scheme focuses on white walls and polished concrete floors and a feature wall of matched Carrara marble extending through the stair well area throughout all floors.
